INTENSIVE PROGRAM
3 Months of Training + 6 Months of Service
3-MONTH PROGRAM
MOVE offers three months of theoretical and practical classes at either of our two campuses (Leticia Amazonas or Belize).
MOVE aims to offer a first approach to missionaries while providing experiences and opportunities in multiple areas of service.
Students will also learn to analyze needs and devise plans to meet them, working in nearby communities.
WHAT NEXT AFTER 3 MONTHS?
The most exciting experience comes after successfully completing the three months of training.
6 MONTHS OF SERVICE
MOVE connects students with mission projects around the world, creating a trusted network between students, ministries, and donors.
After three months, students will put what they’ve learned into practice by serving for six months in any Adventist ministry around the world.
HOW CAN I REGISTER?
REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted into MOVE, you must meet the following characteristics:
- Have the desire to be a missionary.
- Be between 18 and 45 years of age.
- Be legally and morally independent.
- Have a valid passport.
- Commit to completing the full program (9 months).
After submitting your application, you’ll receive an email with information about the program. After reading it, you can schedule an interview to clarify any questions you may have.
After that, you will receive confirmation of whether it has been accepted.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
FINANCE
Tuition and housing are free for everyone; however, each person is responsible for their own personal expenses.
- Meals, communications, personal and general expenses will be approximately $400 USD.
- Visas for people from Europe and North America cost around $150 USD.
- Visas for people from Central and South America are around $300 USD.
- Everyone will be responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the MOVE campus and to the location where they will serve for six months.
